Notes - Magumeri, 1956-1957

Doctoral research examining the Kanuri conducted from 1955 to 1957 with a Foreign Area Fellowship. Field notes predominately are first-person accounts of Cohen's observations. The majority of the files in this sub-series consist of typescript notes from 1956 and 1957, but there are a few manuscript notes as well. In addition to the field notes, there are also questionnaires, general notes, and status reports. Files are arranged alphabetically, although the field notes files themselves are arranged chronologically.
