Miscellaneous African Mammal Studies (Folder 1), 1948-1976
Scope and Contents
This series contains a broad assortment of documents on semi-arid (savanna) habitats and the fauna, particularly mammals, found within those environments. Much of this material is similar in nature to the flora and fauna articles found in the Miscellaneous series of this collection. Special topics, such as desertification and semiarid habitats are mentioned in these documents, as well as a group of manuscripts concerning rangeland management with a particular focus on the challenges of managing semiarid environments. The material in this series is arranged alphabetically.
