Home Demonstration Council Report 1943-44

Subseries 2 consists of records of Home Demonstration program, including annual reports, the Annual Meeting reports of the State (Senior) Council of Home Demonstration Work, summaries of yearly activities, histories written by home demonstration agents, and various administrative, organizational, and procedural matters. Photographs in some of the file folders were removed and placed with the agricultural photographic collection. A ninth box of uncataloged Home Demonstration circulars and bulletins was added 2/16/2000

Subseries also contains University of Florida Florida Cooperative Extension Service scrapbooks mostly relating to Home Demonstration and 4-H programs, spanning the years 1952 to 1964. The National Home Demonstration Week scrapbooks contain clippings, photographs, and pamphlets. Some of the volumes are organized by county, and some have separate sections relating to work by African Americans. Photographs depict Home Demonstration and 4-H participants and events.

Volume 19 contains magazine tearsheets relating to World War II planes.

Volumes 3-5 are not present in the collection.

Volumes 20 and 21 contain scrapbooks containing clippings and other materials noting the 50th anniversary of the Experiment Station in 1938 and the 25th anniversary of the Cooperative Extension Service in 1939.
