Nuclear Sciences Files, 1945-1971
Scope and Contents
This series pertains to the development of the University of Florida's nuclear facilities and research during the period in which Davis was the Director of Nuclear Sciences (1960-1965) and in other years as well. It also includes documents related to Davis's participation in state and federal agencies concerned with nuclear development and regulations. The latter include the Florida Inter-Institutional Committee on Nuclear Sciences, the Florida Nuclear Commission, and the Atomic Energy Commission.
