Patrick J. Kearney worked for Senator Mack first as a staff assistant (1989-1990) and then on projects (1990-1991) before becoming a legislative assistant from 1991-2000. His areas of expertise include defense, defense appropriations, the budget, trade, transportation, aviation, customs, and drug interdiction. Specific issues include the Spending Reduction Commission, Florida military bases, the First Gulf War, and the Transportation Empowerment Act.

Also present are the files of Yann H. H. Van Geertruyden and Dawn Teague. Yann worked as a legislative correspondent in Connie Mack's D.C. office from 1995-1998, eventually serving as chief correspondent. He then served as a legislative assistant from 1998-2000 assisting Patrick J. Kearney. Dawn Teague worked as a fellow in the D.C. office. This subseries is arranged alphabetically.
