Scope and Content
The Archives of the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Society contain the official records of the Society, other Society documentation, and material in divers formats relating directly, or indirectly to Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. The Official Records primarily document the business of the Board of Trustees.
Much of the Rawlings related material is clippings which commemorate her life, her home at Cross Creek, or specific topics which have been newsworthy. The series also contains magazine articles, copies of some derivative work based on her writings, copies of letters and other Rawlings documents, which have been donated to the Society, and some commercial and home made audio and video tapes and film relating to Rawlings or associated topics.
