Scope and Content
This collection is a partial archive of Milanich's former working papers as an archaeologist and anthropologist. They are limited to his research and critiques about the Miami Circle; his background research for his book on Julian Dimock; similar background research into the life of New York journalist Amos Jay Cummings and his newspaper coverage of 19th century Florida; and correspondence, research, and various publications related to documenting the route of Hernando De Soto through Florida. These papers also include some of Milanich's talks and conference papers, correspondence with his publishers, and some general correspondence.
