Board of Control Agenda Records of the University of Florida Office of the President
Scope and Content
This series consists of Florida Board of Control (now Board of Regents) agenda files used by University of Florida Presidents Tigert, Miller, and Reitz. Included are agenda items submitted by the University President to the Board of Control. The level of documentation is significantly greater for the earlier records (1920s and 1930s) which often include numerous enclosures related to agenda items. The earlier records also indicate a higher level of involvement by the Board of Control in University affairs. Later records are largely confined to personnel, budgetary, and building construction matters.
