Scope and Content
Typescript entitled "Reminiscences: Fifty Years in the Schoolroom." The work unfolds as a series of brief reminiscences reflecting on his experiences as a youth, as a classroom teacher in rural schools in several southern states, as a normal school instructor in Georgia and Florida, and as a professor at the University of Florida. The work also includes parables which convey Little's homespun philosophy.

Biographical/Historical Note
Wilbert Alva Little was a professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Florida from 1922 until 1945. In 1938, Professor Little was placed on Special Status and was assigned non-classroom duties. As part of those duties, he was asked to write a book detailing his many years as a teacher and professor.
