Claude L. Murphree Scrapbooks
Scope and Content
Five scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings and souvenirs documenting Murphree's organ recitals. The five scrapbooks are dated: 1) 1926; 2) 1926-1927; 3) 1932-1933; 4) 1934-1939; 5) 1940-1946. Also includes a manuscript book with hand-written musical scores, a convention name tag, a 1935 program, and three posters advertising various Murphree's recitals.
