Scope and Content

Scrapbook containing clippings, photographs, postcards and memorabilia. The scrapbook documents Clark's graduation from the Adelphi Academy in New York in 1930 through his graduate school days at UF. Clark roomed at the Thomas Hotel during most of his stay at UF and there are many photographs of the hotel, guests, and members of the Thomas family. There are also photographs of Gainesville residents as well as people and places in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Biographical/Historical Note

E. B. (Fred) Clark was a student at the University of Florida from 1931 to 1937. He received his BA in Education in 1935 and a Master's in French in 1937.
