Scope and Content
Photocopy of transcribed diary by Clifford "Swede" Henley detailing his service during World War II in the 22nd Infantry Regiment. The first few pages include a brief history of the CaDinnon Company written by Thomas C. Harrison, the rest is directly from Swede's diary. Also, includes a DVD featuring video footage of D-Day, narrated by Swede, a pamphlet providing the actions of the 22nd Infantry Regiment in World War II, and Thomas C. Harrison's obituary.

Biographical/Historical Note
Thomas C. Harrison was a 1942 graduate of the University of Florida where he was voted outstanding athlete and was named to the University's Hall of Fame. During World War II Harrison participated in the D-Day Invasion of France in 1944 and, in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium with the U.S. Army, 4th Infantry Divison. Harrison met Clifford "Swede" Henley in 1944. He copied Henley's diary to pay homage to a fellow soldier and friend.
