Biographical/Historical Note

Hal Thomas Reid was born in Tampa Florida in 1934. Reid graduated from the Unviersity of Florida with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Architecture in 1958. In 1969 he founded Hal Thomas Reid Associates, P.A. in Ocala Florida. Key projects completed by Hal Reid include Barnett Banks, Cascades Shopping Plaza, Concord Square, the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, The Falls Fashion Center in Miami, Central Florida Regional Library, and Material Processing Center.
