The collection includes Sharon Cloud’s audio recordings, transcripts, photographs and notes used during her 1979 interview of Isabel Briggs Myers. Also included are a brochure, speeches, and other materials relating to the Third National CAPT-MBTI Conference on the use of The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Letters from Clarence G. Myers and Kathy B. Myers pertaining to Isabel Briggs Myers are included as well.

Biographical/Historical Note

Sharon Cloud served as a member of the Conference Committee for the Third National CAPT-MBTI Conference on the use of The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, “New Horizons for the Constructive Use of Differences.” The conference was held in October 17-20, 1979. In the summer of 1979, Cloud and her partner, John Reddish, interviewed Isabel Briggs Myers, who created the MBTI with her mother, Katharine Briggs. Cloud was using her married name, Sharon Sledd, at the time of the interview and conference.
