The records of the Florida Anthropological Society include minutes of annual and executive committee meetings, officers' reports, articles of incorporation and constitution, financial and membership records, correspondence, newsletters, and chapter records. Proceedings of some board meetings are on cassette tapes. A second accession to the collection includes materials dating from 1990-2006.

Biographical/Historical Note
Established in 1947 and incorporated in 1964, the Florida Anthropological Society promotes anthropological studies, particularly of the Native Americans of Florida, and seeks to conserve archaeological sites in Florida.
