Manuscript copy, possibly written in the late 18th or early 19th century, of an original letter written February 2, 1698 or 1699, by John Dryden to Elizabeth Steward, his cousin and one of his most frequent correspondents. In the letter, he refers to his last publication, Fables, Ancient and Modern (1700). This letter has been digitized and is available online.
