Biographical/Historical Note

Accountant and government official. Born in Illinois in 1900; died 1984. With Arthur Andersen and Co., 1923-1942, and Price, Waterhouse, 1942-1960. Worked in the U.S. Navy Department from 1942-1944. Member of the Accounting Hall of Fame, 1964.
