The series contains correspondence, collection inventories, reports, forms, working papers documenting the administration of the Library. Of significance is material related to the formation of the Library by purchasing the Mishkin Collection. Also includes proposals for the formation of the Library and information on fundraising to purchase the Mishkin Collection.

Biographical/Historical Note

The Price Library of Judaica was dedicated on March 8, 1981 honoring a Jacksonville family active in Jewish community life. It is the largest library of Judaica in the southeast and concentrates on the political, social, economic and intellectual history of Jewish culture in all historical periods.
