Scope and Content

Contains the administrative records of the directors of the University of Florida Libraries. Included in the series are documents related to the directors' participation in the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, the Association of Research Libraries, the Southeastern Library Association, and the Southeastern Library Network (SOLINET). Of particular note are the files related to the founding and early development of the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) including papers and photographs of the first seminar at Chinsegut Hill in Brooksville, Florida, in 1956.
