Records of the University of Florida Department of Architecture

Series 73 consists of selected files from the administrative papers of James T. Lendrum and Arnold F. Butt, former chairs of the University of Florida Department of Architecture. The series contains correspondence, reports, and printed matter. Included in the series are records related to the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects, the Association of Colleges and Schools of Architecture, the National Architectural Accrediting Board, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. The series also contains records related to campus planning (see Campus Planning and Land Use Committee) at the University of Florida, records related to historic preservation programs in Florida, community development projects, and environmental concerns. Materials on the development of the Urban and Regional Development Center, and its predecessor the Urban Studies Bureau, are particularly strong.
