This series contains a comprehensive collection of materials relating to the Community Areas Management Programme for Indigenous Resources (CAMPFIRE) in Zimbabwe. Born out of wildlife legislation passed in Rhodesia in the 1970s, the program was officially conceived by Rowan Martin in the early 1980s. Brian Child was the coordinator of the CAMPFIRE program from 1989-1995. Overall program guidelines, correspondence, publicity, and a series of papers by Brian Child are included in this series....
