A (c. 1920) 10 x 14 - inch (5- page)Takarazuka Kagekidan (Japanese theatre) photo scrapbook "signed and presented by Takarazuka president Jasaburo Yoshioka [i.e. J?zabur? Yoshioka] to Miss Ruth St Denis and Mr. Ted Shown [sic]. Summary: Twenty-nine black and white photographs of the Takarazuka theatre and its company. Includes two photographs of the cardboard models of the theatre, plus numerous photographs of the actresses (Takarasiennes) working on costumes, eating, in classes (learning English), and of course, in rehearsal."
