About Town and The Great Decide : Lew Fields (Of the comedy team, "Weber and Fields") and His All-Star Company (including Blanche Ring and Vernon Castle) appear in this 1906 Lew Fields' Herald Square Theatre production. The book and lyrics for "About Town" were by Joseph Herbert with music by Melville Ellis, Raymond Hubbell, Victor Herbert (Portrayed by Walter Connolly in the 1939 biopic, "The Great Victor Herbert"), A. Baldwin Sloane and Gustav Kerker. "The Great Decide" was "A Burlesque of William Vaughn Moody's Drama of the Southwest - The Great Divide" starring Margaret Anglin and Henry Miller which was playing at the Princess Theatre on Broadway in 1906.
