Scope and Contents note From the Series: Chase and Company began operations in 1884, primarily as an insurance company, but quickly moved into agricultural operations. The company incorporated on August 6, 1914 and reincorporated on July 20, 1948. Chase and Company principal operations were in Florida, but it also did business in Georgia and North Carolina.
